April Beauty Favourites

I know that with most monthly favourite posts/blogs/videos – soo many people chat about just how fast the months are flying and I will admit I am hopping on the bandwagon of commenting on such things. So, we are in May – which means next month is June. How are we almost 6 months (half way!!) through the year already?! How did that happen?? I do have a few products to share with you that I have been in love with for the month of April and here they are J

Elf Under Eye Concealer & Highlighter: This product has already made an appearance on my blog but it deserved a second mention! I have been using this product almost every day for the month of April and have been loving it! This is such an affordable product and to be honest the quality has surprised me. The coverage is great, the consistency is quite thin so it does not look or feel cakey and with the right setting powder – it stays creaseless all day long. There are so many different concealers that I am interesting in trying but would definitely re-purchase this product.

Maybelline Mega Plush Mascara: This was one of those products that I just quickly picked up on a whim as I had forgotten to apply mascara despite having a full face of makeup (I had not had my coffee that morning!). I like this product as I find that it gives my lashes length along with volume and making them appear thicker. I prefer using this product as a second mascara to any make up look as I find that it isn’t the BEST mascara for lash separation.

NYX Black label Lipstick in Nude: This lipstick is just perfect for any occasion and goes with every single make-up look. I use it both with and without lip liners/gloss but always scrub my lips before using this. It’s not a particularly drying lipstick – my lips just tend to be naturally more on the drier side! It’s not the most long lasting lipstick but it’s great for what it is and really affordable!

NYX Blush in Peach: This blush has quickly become my most used every day pinky blush. Don’t be fooled by it’s name – it is in the shade ‘Peach’ but it is definitely a pink (unless I got a bad one!). It is a beautiful light baby pink shade and is a really flattering colour. I think that this shade would suit lots of different skin types/colours and have the same beautiful affect! I LOVE NYX blushes/products and would definitely re-purchase.

MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Soft and Gentle: This product is by far one of my most favourite MAC products of all time. It is a beautiful highlight which I also use as an eye shadow. It is an absolutely stunning shade and I haven’t met anyone who hasn’t completely fallen in love with this product. This is something that I have owned for quite some time, have been using constantly but it doesn’t even look like I’ve made a dent in it!
