Myer, Mecca and Online Make-up Haul and Mini Review
Tis the season for buying gifts but I must admit I have been purchasing some for myself as well! To my defense, these are all products that I have researched thoroughly, kept my eye on for a very long time and really really wanted to try! That’s my story and I’m sticking to it 🙂
Hourglass Blush Palette: I swear, as I open this palette I can hear angels singing and birds chirping. But really, it is gorgeous and a product that I absolutely could not wait to get my hands on! I am absolutely LOVING this palette. The shades, quality, swatches and end result are all absolutely gorgeous. If this is a product that you are contemplating, I would say go for it! The shades are all extremely wearable on an every day basis or you can build this up a little for night time.
YSL Rouge Volupte Shade 7: I have had my eye on this product for YEARS. I’m not even kidding! The colour and packaging are just absolutely gorgeous and I finallyyy decided to pick this up. This is my first YSL lipstick and second bought YSL product. This is hands down one of my favourite lipsticks of all time. The colour is amazing and wearable day or night. I wanted to get something that I would get a lot of use out of and have heard nothing but great reviews about this product and shade!
MAC Crème Cup lipstick: I have been loving lip products lately! I am in search of my perfect nude lipstick. I do own Myth by Mac but I just find that this one washes me out a little. However, I do make it work. Hey, these lip products are expensive – you have to make it work! I am loving Crème Cup, after attempting to buy this a few times and finding it to be sold out – I was finally able to track it down and get one for myself. So far, I love!
Inglot Blush Palette: This is part of Inglot’s freedom range. I picked up my first Inglot purchase at this years Sydney IMATS but with a 20% off coupon – how can you not pick up a couple more products?! This palette is from their Freedom range where you buy the palette itself and buy the blush insets separately. The colour selection on their website isn’t 100% accurate so I would recommend searching swatches of the colours you like!
Inglot Contour Palette: I am working on this one! I was lucky enough to be sent another 20% off voucher (it’s like they knew I’d be back!) so I’m sure this palette will be filled pretty soon! I really love the concept behind the freedom palettes and that you can really create your own so that no product goes unused and you really love each shade in your palette! I am still testing these palettes and may do a review!
NYX Cream Blushes: I am super late to the bandwagon with these products but I have never tried cream blush before! I thought what better way to start experimenting with these products than with one of my favourite brands; NYX. I have heard great things about these products and have not yet tried them but will be sure to keep you updated and maybe even do a review/tutorial! Is cream blush something that you use on an every day basis? Do you prefer powder or cream?
What are your most recent beauty purchases? Have you tried any of the above? Let me know your thoughts!
